# Oakville Open Championship: A Grand Celebration of Table Tennis

On March 9, 2024, the Oakville Community Table Tennis Association (OCTTA), in partnership with Ontario Table Tennis, proudly hosted the inaugural Oakville Open Championship. This landmark event marked a significant milestone in our efforts to promote table tennis in the Oakville community and beyond.

## A Day of Thrilling Competition

Thanks to the generous support from the City of Oakville, we were able to secure top-notch facilities for the championship, featuring 11 tables for an intense day of matches. The event attracted over 100 participants, ranging from seasoned players to enthusiastic newcomers, all eager to showcase their skills and compete for the top honors.
